Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s / Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience:

• Freshers / Experienced professionals are welcome to apply.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and Embedded Linux Development.
• Basic understanding of digital circuits and digital design/systems.
• Expertise in Linux/Unix OS and scripting languages like Make, Tcl, and Perl.
• A background in programming using SystemC is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Job Description:

As a Software Developer at Siemens EDA, you will:

• Develop functionally accurate SystemC/TLM software models for CPUs (ARM and RISC-V architectures) and other hardware devices, which will compose Virtual Platforms.
• Verify model functionality using SystemC and/or UVM/SystemVerilog, perform unit testing/debugging, and execute the test plan.
• Build Virtual Platforms for hardware designs at the system level, including loading/booting Linux/Mentor Embedded Linux (MEL)/Android.
• Simulate and debug customer software on the Virtual Platform.
• Prepare professional Functional Specifications and Design Documents.
