Role Scope: Technical Support Engineer
Join us as a Technical Support Engineer and expand your expertise across the Salesforce Platform. This role involves working closely with developers from various companies, assisting them in solving business challenges using Salesforce technologies. Work Schedule: We operate 24×7 with non-standard work weeks. Work hours vary across AMER, EMEA, and APAC time zones, subject to business needs.
Job Requirements
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist third-party developers in troubleshooting integration with salesforce.com APIs, Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce developer products.
- Write sample code, and client libraries, and contribute to Open Source projects.
- Create knowledge base materials to enhance operational efficiency and empower the developer community.
- Resolve complex customer service issues and manage customer expectations effectively.
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in product functionality areas to assist customers.
- Assist in designing and delivering technical training.
- Review support cases for accuracy and troubleshooting effectively.
- Identify opportunities for upselling Salesforce solutions.
Qualifications
- BTech/BS degree in a technical field preferred with a strong academic record.
- 1 to 5 years of engineering/programming experience.
- Proficiency in Salesforce technologies including Lightning, Apex, REST/SOAP/Bulk API, Visualforce, etc.
- Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment tools.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of Internet technologies.
Desired Skills
- Previous experience with Salesforce CRM and related technologies.
- Experience as a committer in a Open Source project is a plus.
- Salesforce certifications like Administrator (ADM201), Advanced Administrator (ADM211), or Developer (DEV401) are desired.
