Job Roles and Responsibilities

Experience

- Understanding of compiler phases and familiarity with open-source compilers (Open64, LLVM, GCC)
- Knowledge of micro-architectural features of modern microprocessors (e.g., x86)
- Strong programming and debugging skills in machine language
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, and Shell is an added advantage
- Experience with Windows and Linux environments
- Knowledge of software development processes and tools such as debuggers and source code control systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with parallel programming domains (OpenMP, MPI, auto-parallelization) is a plus
